I had the opportunity to step onto the floor at CES to shoot and edit a series of fast-turnaround product demonstration videos for STMicroelectronics. Built for digital marketing and YouTube distribution, the goal was to transform live tech demos into polished, high-energy content that instantly connects with an audience.
The Anatomy of a High-Impact Demo Video
Producing content on a crowded convention floor means creating structure out of chaos. These videos were built from the ground up to keep viewers locked in from start to finish:
On-Camera Presenter Flow: Capturing clear, engaging walk-throughs as the presenter guides the audience through the product's features and real-world applications.
Dynamic B-Roll: Cutting away to tight, detailed macro shots of the hardware and interface to visually reinforce exactly what the presenter is explaining.
Polished Branding & Motion Graphics: Elevating the production value with clean pacing, professional color correction, and custom stingers (intro/outro music and graphics) to ensure a seamless look and sound.
